Carltonians Match Day Function | Round 22 v Western Bulldogs

The Carltonians hosted our match day function at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon vs Western Bulldogs.

Renowned Herald Sun crime journalist Andrew Rule was our special guest for the function, entertaining guests with a fascinating talk about Melbourne’s dark underworld past.

Carlton tragic and comedian Dave Hughes was a special guest in the room along with Sarah Barker, wife of assistant coach John.

On field, our young developing team took the fight right up to the 2016 Premiers, with the game in the balance at three quarter time. Unfortunately we fell short and the Bulldogs secured their third win in a row.

Carlton fans again witnessed glimpses of a strong and promising future with Tom De Koning taking some strong marks and kicking his first goal in his first senior outing.

The Carltonians now look forward to our final function of the season next Saturday night, where we face the Adelaide Crows.
